Hi all,
i'm writing a number in a cell but this number has one or more zero at the beginning, ex. 01113425.
Someone could tell me how to format the cell (custom , not text please)?

i've the same problem with access.

Thanks a lot!

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Are the numbers always the same number of digits ie so always 6 digits long so that if you have 123 it therefore needs 3 leading zeros to bring it up to the 6 digits? Then you can use:

000000

as the custom format.
