Excel Forms - macro help pls

I have a excel sheet which contains close to 20 sheets with various business units. Now I need to insert 4 forms in a sheet<o:p></o:p>
<o:p> </o:p>
e/g. 4 forms – US, APAC, Europe, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on">Africa</st1:place> and when I click US, it should have another 5 forms (which will take to various sheets- consisting of US countries)<o:p></o:p>

Excel Facts

I think you need two forms: one to select your world area and one to sub-select country.
  • Userform1: contains a listbox of your world areas. When you click an area, the click event handler hides the form and loads Userform2.
  • Userform2: contains a listbox of countries. When it loads it fills the listbox with the countries in the world area selected in Userform1. The click event for this listbox would then do whatever you wanted to do for that country.
Is that what you mean?

PS. I've suspected that Mexico was part of the US for a while now but I don't think Brasil is. And as for Cuba... :eeek:

You might find it cleaner to have one userform with a MultiPage control, rather than multiple userforms.

Agreed. I've never tried that so I was suggesting what I knew on the grounds that I'd be more likely to be able to help with any follow-up questions.

I shall have to have a play with Multipage... it's on the 'to-do' list!

Btw, its an example I counted mexico, brazil, etc to US, though they all come under north or south ameria ;)

You haven't seen the size of my to-do list. I wouldn't hold your breath if I were you!

You'd be better off with someone who has at least used multiipage forms before.

To me, Mike's last question is the key. If it's just to facilitate navigation around the workbook, I'd just drop in a few attractively done shapes or well-formatted cells and create hyperlinks to whereever you want to go. Much MUCH easier than trying to fiddle about with userforms, etc. Furthermore, no danger they'll fail just because someone turns off macros.
