Hello

I have a workbook with 2 sheets.
Sheet 1 is a template. Column A will contain document titles, hopefully populated from sheet 2. Column B has a dropdown list in B5 containing job titles.

Sheet 2 is a table. Column A contains document titles. Row 3 contains job titles that match the dropdown list on sheet 1. The cells in the table are blank if the document in column A doesn't apply to the job title in row 3 or "X" if the document does apply.

On sheet 1, I want to select a job title in B5 and have column A populated with all the document titles from sheet 2 that apply to that job.

I've tried several formulas, but just can't make it work.

Any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Put this in A5 on sheet 1. This won't work if A5 is part of a table.
Excel Formula:
=FILTER(INDEX(Table,,1),INDEX(Table,,MATCH(B5,Table[#Headers]))="X")
