Excel formula solving

I am trying to find out the value of y through a formula in xls.

Formula= (x = y^4 + y)

I want to calculate the value of y if value of x is given ,

Can anybody give me the formula for the same,

Why? I can look in to it further if you can tell me why it doesn't work for you.

x = y * (y^3-1)
If x = 0, then y = 0.

Just realised, B1 should be X in my formula, I was doing it in Excel
