Is there any formula to search for a cell in a different sheet with a specific text, but that the result of the formula is the cell number? So I can use this "cell number" for a different formula.

Let's say I have in sheet 2 the cell C5 with the text "quantity", but in sheet 1 I would require to obtain this "C5" so I can use it within ADDRESS formula or ROWS/COLUMNS.
In sheet 3 I would have the same text "quantity" but in a different cell, let's say D6, therefore depending on the sheet the formula ADRESS would be changing.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Best thing to do in this scenario is create a named range for the Cell with "Quantity" in it. You can use that in any formula. It can move around by inserting rows or columns and it can always be referenced.
