I have a tab called slide and another tab called inventory. What I need is a formula that if column G1:G700 has a price and column I1:I700 has the words “KAF” sum it in the tab Called Slide on column B12.

Can you copy your formula as it appears in the address bar into your reply - you shouldn't be getting a #NAME? error. Are you using an English language version of Excel?

change it to
=SUMIF(Inventory!I2:I700,"KAF",Inventory!G2:G700)
considering you have a headers
