hello mr excel,

i trying to create a formula that allows me to place a value in column a as follows

e.g 450 and have the answer come up in column b but the calculation i require
is as follows

any number greater than 300 in need to multiply by 0.24

your help would be greatly appreciated

sorry i didn't quite explain my self properly

i need the remainder calculated, anything over 300
