Hi, I have a huge data with answers Yes, No, N/A. In total, let’s say they sum to 300. Now I need to display in each total their respective counts, for example Yes: 150/300; No: 100/300; NA: 50/300 without excel reducing it or simplifying the fractions. Thanks in advance for your help

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Can you post a SMALL sample of your data and what result you expect ?
Use the XL2BB download to post useful data. See my tag for the download link

Hi, thanks for replying. Here’s an example. In B10 i have to have the exact display 9/15 as there are 9 Yes for all Attributes and Testables and 6/15 for No.

My exact file has huge number of attributes and testable items, and I also have to get each of their scores as fraction. Im afraid if I do manually, it will take forever

If you use XL2BB to post your sample data, people can copy the data and paste to Excel to play with it. If you post the data as an image, people who want to test it will have to type it.

You mean like this for the "Yes" answer
Excel Formula:
=COUNTIF(B2:D6,"Yes") & "/" & COUNTA(B2:D6)
I'm sure you can fathom the "No" result !

It seems perfect! Thanks so much. But now, what if my value for counta is scattered thru the sheet? Can I nest countif into counta?

hold on, let me upload using XL2BB

Yup, thanks for that. I went ahead and explored, i figured out you can have multiple ranges for counta. I also forgot about the “&” when creating formula. Thanks so much, Michael!
