Excel Functions and Control Shift Enter

Hi,

I've recently been upgraded to Microsoft 365 and noticed that some of the functions that previously required Control Shift Enter (CSE) to apply correctly no longer seem to.

For example, I often use the PRODUCT function to accumulate monthly growth rates:

{=(PRODUCT(1+A1:A100/100)-1)*100}

Following the upgrade to Microsoft 365 it seems that the CSE isn't required.

Have I understood this change correctly and does this mean that CSE is no longer required for all Excel functions?

I didn't know where else to post this and I haven't found anything online to say this is true or when it was released. It appears you no longer have to use Control+Shift+Enter to confirm an array formula and just pressing enter will work and not return #VALUE anymore? Can anyone else confirm...
