I have a graph that needs creating with one set of results representing bars to the left Y axis and 2 sets of results that show lines on the right axis.

I have gone through every possible combination but all I can find is a graph that represents 2 sets of bars for the left axis and one line on the right.

is it possible to change one of the bar values to show as a line in the graph?

thanks

PS if this makes no snse but you think you can help, please let me know!

Hi hostis
Welcome to the board

The combinations you see are just examples, you can modify them.

You can start by creating the graph with the 2 sets of bars for the left axis and one line on the right.

Right-click on one of the bars of the series that you also want to be represented as a line. Choose option Chart Type, and select Line Graph.

You then have the first 2 data series, columns and line referring to the first Y axis and the 3rd data series referring to the 2nd Y axis.

Finally right-click on the line of the 2nd data series, select Format Data Series and in the Axis tab select Secondary axis.

Hope this helps
