Excel Help Needed

Hi,

I am trying to do a line chart....with one set of numbers on the x axis and another set on the y axis. I don't need two lines on the chart. I only need one line to plot my points but i can't find how to do this.....every chart i see has two lines or two bars to compare two things. I don't need to compare anything....I just need to plot points with 1 line. any help on this will be much appreciated. thanks!

Hi, welcome to the board.

You should try using the X-Y Scatter chart type. But if you keep having problems, just post back !

And if you have your heart set on a line graph, Jon Peltier has a very good web site for graph information. This link in particular might get you started...scroll to the bottom of the page for an example he shows of a single line chart.
