Hi all,

I've created a Daily Log workbook and in it I've created some shortcuts to forms (mostly made in excel). They are a simple hyperlink attached to a shape, with the hyperlink pointing to the file to open (right click on shape, insert link, existing file or webpage).

My company works with network drives and the files I've linked to are stored on one of these network drives. The issue is that when the staff (over the years) have mapped these drives some of them have given the drive a different name to others, i.e.: some have the drive as X, some Z etc..... Is there any way of the hyperlink seeing multiple locations so as to "catch" these people rather than them getting a "Cannot open specific file" error and then moaning and blaming the worksheet. If not I'll just tell them all to remap the drives with all using one specific drive name.

Once again thanks all
T

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
It would probably be best practice to use fully qualified path and not what other people name their mapped drives. Example: \\MyNetwork\Marketing\Prospects folder is better than h:\
