Hello

What could casue Excel to be slow to respond. I did create a new sheet this morning while Excel was already open running another file.

EX: It could take around 15 second to modify the font on a selected cells. I did close the the Excel file that was already running but it is still very slow

My PC is running fine. All others applications running normal.

Any idea?

Best wish to all for this new year to come

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Excel can run slow for a lot of reasons .. most commonly because the formulas are too crazy, or there is just too much data.

Try to turn off the auto-calculation and use [Shift] + [F9] to calculate each sheet. that should help you narrow down.

Hello Wayne and Happy New Year

Thanks for the reply
I have no formula installed on the sheet yet, just creating a form for the moment
