I have looked at several similar question responses but is not quite the same.

I have an excel file that calculates the number of days between to dates to show days since our last safety incident. Simple formula of TODAY()- cell with a date. I have it linked into a PowerPoint and works great. But when the next day comes the linked days calculated does not update in PowerPoint. Only when the slideshow is stopped and restarted will the linked days calculated update. Is this an issue with how my Excel workbook is setup or a PowerPoint issue I need to resolve?
