When copying a worksheet into another excel file all links are active(fine). When now replacing those links by deleting the links, there is still a hidden link.
Example: original formula: [excel1]sum(Sheet1A1:A99).....
replace [excel1] with nothing (empty box)
result sum(Sheet1A1:A99).....
This should delete all links, but there is still a link. No link could be found in names, macros or VBA.
Now the question: How to find and/or delete those hidden links?
Please help Thanx

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Thanx but same result

Hello Brian,

thanx for the help but I still have the same result. There is still a link to the old excel sheet.

Greetings Kai

Linkfinder

Hello Richard,

it's a great tool but it does not resolve the problem. After using it, the tool does not find a link but the link also disappears. The only thing is that I have to save the excel file.It might be a problem with the Excel Version. When I use Excel 97 this problem occurs, by using Excel2003 the problem does not occur! The only problem, some of our user are still using '97.

But thax for your help
