Hi Guys,
Wondering if you guys can get me started on my first macro try. Been following you-tube videos and so on but still haven;t been able to extract multiple excel file data and consolidating it into the master file i created.

Master file has for example a, b, c, d, e rows and i want to copy data from other 100 excel files from known co-ordinates. Row 144 = a in master, 145 = b in master, 146 = c in master, 147 and column G.
i used commander to extract all the files into one folder so now just require a macro :)
any help appreciated.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Also the 100 excels files have numerical data that needs to be collected and string data discarded.
