Hi All,

I hope this is a simple question.

I am working to compile several peoples contact list. I merged all of the contact list into one excel file and have four columns.

Column A is the e-mail address
Column B is the First Name of the Contact
Column C is the Last Name of the Contact
Column D list which person's contact list the contact came from.

My problem is that I discovered duplicates in Column A.

I would like to Merge the duplicates into one row and have Column D reflect all of the list the contact came from.

Right now I have one excel file with all the duplicates removed and "multiple" in Column D.

I have a second file that is "raw" with duplicates.

Any suggestions?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Use the File that has them all stacked with the duplicates in.
Sort it A-Z on at least the E-Mail(Col A)

Make Column Labels:
E1 = Email
F1 = FName
G1 = LName
H1 = Provided By

Make the formulas:
E2 as =IF(A2=A1,A2,"")
F2 as =B2
G2 as =C2
H2 as =IF(A2=A1,H1&D2,D2)
Fill those formulas down the respective column

Select Row 1
Ctrl+Shift+L turns on Filtering

Select the E1 filter-arrow and uncheck Blanks
This will provide one row per e-mail address and concatenate the submittors to Column H
