Howdy. What do you mean "transfer"?

If it is one cell, and you are copying, it will not paste because they have to be the size dimension.

I successfully completed a mail merge from an Excel spreadsheet to Publisher labels. All cells with numbers mail merged from one document to another. Cells with alpha-numeric (e.g. "404 A") did not. Why ???

Sounds like you'll have to format the cells that contain numbers as text, then do the merge. Hope that helps!
