I study Industrial Engineering, I have a project and I don’t know where to begin.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
The project is about a company that imports beverages. Basically, they have 2 warehouses. The product is imported and transported to warehouse 1, then it become nationalize and it is stored in warehouse 2. And I need to develop a method that optimizes the costs.<o></o>
Warehouse 1: product without tax, lower storage costs<o></o>
Warehouse 2: product with tax, a higher storage cost.<o></o>

The nationalize process has a fix cost. So a higher quantity of product is equal to lower nationalize cost.<o></o>

Well, that is the idea of the project, I have studied some heuristic methods like silver-meal but if you have any idea or if you know where I can study about it, tell me please. <o></o>
