I am working with an extremely large spreadsheet (490T rows), and now that I am pulliing in info to the last column with a vlookup, I can no longer save any additional changes (including deletions or transferring formulas to values). I go into the not responding message, everything freezes up and I can only close thru task manager.

Would really appreciate some help on this, as I am getting extremly frustrated.

Thanks,

Cat

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Hi Cat
470T sound pretty huge.
Try to reduce your lookup ranges-does it have to be for the whole 470T?
Maybe you can move some of your data to another workbook and do some calcualtiuns there?
