Do you know of any software that analyses an Excel workbooks performance (i.e. calculation speed) and determines the bottlenecks, i.e. DataTables, slow formulas etc?

I have a file that takes 0.5s to recalculate but i need to recalculate ~10 times and rerun dozens of times so every milisecond counts and id like to improve the performance as much as possible.

I already try and follow best practice such as not using volatile formulas, i've removed the use of Data tables as that made the calculation speed >1.5s.

I've been using FastExcel v3 but that doesnt seem to give great results

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Have you not seen the splash advert for fast excel on this forum at the top of the screen check it out
