HELLO I WAS JUS WONDERIN IF ANY BODY COULD HELP ME WITH THIS QUERY. ON THE ABOVE MESSAGE I HAVE A DATE AND A DOCUMENT NUMBER WHICH READS THE 9TH OF JANUARY 03 ALONG WITH A DOCUMENT NUMBER OF 01/M. IS THERE ANY WAY THAT A DATE CAN BE INTERPRETED FROM THE FORMAT OF 030109/01/M?

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Welcome!

Try:

=DATE(20&LEFT(A1,2),MID(A1,3,2),MID(A1,5,2))

(and please do not write in caps)
