I'm kind of pressed for time so if this question and scenario has been asked, I apologize in advance.

I'm trying to scan 2 different barcodes into two different cells next to each other in the same row and then move down to the next row and perform the same operation.

I hope his makes sense.

We have a client that only needs the asset tag and serial number for their audit. Trying to figure out how to do without going back to the keyboard to reposition the cursor and only use the scanner.

Starting point would be E29 then F29 then E30 then F30 etc..

Let me know if anyone can help.

Thanks.

Joe

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Could you provide an example of the barcodes and what you want to do? It's difficult to know right now.

The easiest way would be:
1) Lock all cells except E29, F29, E30, F30, etc. and protect the worksheet allowing to "Select unlocked cells" only.
2) Go to to File --> Options --> Advanced and select "Right" under "After pressing Enter, move selection".
