Hi All

Has anyone come across this issue before? I have an Excel file with macros embedded, the file is password protected to open. After recent Microsoft Office feature and security updates taken, I now recieve the following message (as can be seen by the screen shot image) on opening the file and providing the password to open. If I take the password off the file, the security warning disappears and the file opens successfully. Trouble is, I need to password protect the file. The only solution is to apply 'Trusted Location' setting, however I have several users of the file and where each of them save the file varies (email attachment, network drives, local drives, onedrive, etc.) so this solution does not work.

Does anyone know of another solution?

Thanks, Mizogy.

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
No, haven't seen this before. A pain. And the message is probably wrong as well. I am assuming there is a virus checker, but it can't scan the protected workbook
