Excel Shorcuts

dear all

need to know the below Shortcuts:

1- insert row
2- insert column
3- delete row
4- delete column

thanks in advance.

for 1 & 3
you can select a row using SHIFT-SPACEBAR and then insert with CTRL-SHIFT-+ or delete with CTRL-SHIFT-- [minus]

Or another way, insert with ALT-I-R
and delete with ALT-E-D-R, RETURN


for 2 & 4
select column with CTRL-SPACEBAR
then insert with CTRL-SHIFT-+
or delete with CTRL-SHIFT--

or ALT-I-C
and ALT-E-D-C, RETURN

thanks it is really helpful, all works but the delete for row and columns didnt work , after some trial CTRL (Minus) works for both.

so instead of CTRL-SHIFT-- [minus] for row and instead of CTRL-SHIFT--

CTRL (Minus) works for both.

OK. Sorry about that. I've been using them for so long, & type them in automatically, that when it came to writing them down I didn't know what I actually press - it just happens mindlessly...
