Hi,

I'm running solver via a macro. The solver reaches the "maximum time limit" without finding a solution. The title of the window is:

"Show Trial Solution"

The message is:

"The maximum time limit was reached; continue anyway?"

The options are:

"Conintue"
"Stop"
"Help"
"Save Scenario"

How do I code in VBA such that if I get this message, I select the "stop" option?

Thanks,
hilss

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Thank you for the response... Unfortunatey, it did not address the question of how to make the solver "stop" or "continue" if the solver exceed the iteration limit.

Do you of any other source that contains such information?

Again, thank you,
hilss

Record a macro under conditions that reach the state you describe, then post the resulting code.
