Excel Sorting

find sample data as below :

1.2.4
1.1.4
1.1.1
1.2.1
1.3.1
1.1.2
1.2.3
2.3.1

i wanted them to be sorted appropriately such that as below

1.1.1
1.1.2
1.1.4
1.2.1
1.2.3
1.2.4
1.3.1
2.3.1

Hi,

This will sort normally as you require.

Highlight the range and choose the sort ascending button or, alternatively you can choose Data>Sort and select the range.
