excel spredsheet keeps letting other users in?

Hi Everyone,

Bit of a strange one, but my excel spreedsheet is stored on our network, i have noticed recently that sometimes if i open it to use it another person can use it at the same time!

I dont mean read only, i mean it gives no indication to the other person that im in it, then when i go to save it, it tells me its in use.

has anyone go any idea what might be going on/

No Its not shared at all, It just does it and I cant figure out why?

any iDEAs?
