How do I change the document that opens when Excel starts (MS Office 2003)? When I open excel, a read only document opens that should not. I am not sure where this document came from, and I do not know how to get rid of it. It only opens when I log in to the computer as a specific user, if I create a new user and log in the document does not open and Excel starts as it is supposed to. When I open an existing Excel document that the user created, the read only document opens with that existing document.
I have: uninstalled and reinstalled MS Office, deleted and added the user, deleted the EXCEL.EXE and replaced it with a "good" copy from a different computer, changed the path that the shortcuts point to open a different document.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered,
Ken.

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Try, Tools|Options - Genral (tab), then the "at start up open files in" and leave blank.

Colin.
