Excel through a website freezes when closed

Hi, I have developed an excel spreadsheet that is posted on a website and opens within Internet explorer. The file works fine up to the point you click the close button attached to a form (using the code Application.Quit). Unfortunately, the spreadsheet and website freeze when clicked. I have no knowledge designing websites and am struggling as to why this doesn't work. It works fine when opened through Excel. Any ideas?? Cheers.
