Excel Timeline

I'm using the Excel Timeline feature to create an easy to use/manage our project deliverables.

My issue is when I get to -99 for the placement of the task within the graph/chart I can't add any additional tasks (doesn't let me go an lower than -99).

Any ideas/assistance on how to add more tasks?

The Excel Timeline feature is a built-in tool that allows you to create a visual representation of a project schedule. The placement of tasks on the timeline is determined by the values you enter for the start and end dates of each task. If you're unable to add additional tasks with a placement lower than -99, it's likely because the Timeline feature has a maximum range for the placement of tasks on the timeline, and -99 is the lowest value in that range.

You can try to change the scaling or offset of your axis. Go to Chart Tools and select format axis, then you can set maximum and minimum bounds on your axis.

Another way is to use a different type of chart like a Gantt chart, which may have more flexible options for displaying tasks on the timeline.

Another option is to use a different visualization method, like stacked bar charts, line charts, or even a table, that might help you to show the information in a different way, and help you to achieve your goals.
