I created a worksheet in Excel using conditional formating and tried to save and open in in Quatro Pro. It was for my husband and he only has Quatro Pro at work. Does anyone know if Quatro Pro has that capabilty? I can't find any help sites on Quatro Pro....so I thought I would try here.

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Did you save the file as a *.WQ1 file...?I remember a few years back we switched a couple times from lotus to quattro and then to excel....I do remember some features were lost on the transfer...I thought quattro pro files were identified as WQ4 files....I am not sure...i only saw one quattro format on the "File save as" in Excel.

hope this helps..

Thank you for the help - I did save as a .wk4 and .wq1 - neither file seemed to transfer the conditional formatting I had set up. I don't think Quatro Pro is capable...

I have used Quattro for years, and am just now making the switch to Excel.

To my knowledge, Quattro 10 for XP can do conditional formatting.

Earlier versions (8 and below) couldn't do conditional formatting.

I'm not sure about version 9.
