Hi,

I have a Excel table that has columns with a lot of text and columns with numbers. It's like a form.

I would like to put it in in a Word document without losing the format. I already tried everything that is in Paste Special but I can't get it right.

Any ideas about how to solve this?

Thanks!

Edu

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
1.highlight the table in Excel
2 Click on place in Word where yiu want the table
3 under paste options choose link and keep source formatting

One of the Paste Special options in Word is an Excel worksheet (accessed via Paste>Paste Special>Microsoft Excel Worksheet Object). That paste option cannot do anything but preserve the format, because you're pasting the actual worksheet into Word.
