Excel Userform Properties Confusion

I'm having trouble setting the properties on my userform objects. I looked at the VBA help section, but it has very limited help and I couldn't really find anything online. Is there a website that explains what each property does to an object in an userform?

How are you trying to set the properties?

What properties of what objects are you trying to set?

And when are you trying to set them?

Hello, thanks for the reply

my userform has many textboxes, comboboxes, labels, multipages, commandbuttons.

so far all i can do is set someof the basic properties. I'm setting them in the visual basics window, (so not at run time).

eg, for a combobox i can set its rowsource, appearance, matchentry and match required.

But if you look at the properties window of a combobox it has so many properties that you can set to it, and more than half of it I have no idea what they do or what effect they will have. So I would like to learn them and i want to know if there is a site that teaches those things.

I really don't know of a particular site that's going to give you what you want.

Mostly, I think, you really shouldn't be bothered about all the available properties.

Most of them will be set to defaults and you probably don't need to change them anway.

You could try just selecting the property you want more information about and pressing F1.

That should hopefully display a context-sensitive help item for the property you've selected.

I know that might not be exactly what you are looking for but it might help.:)
