Happy Friday,

On a spreadsheet, using a filter in a header row manually
Top rows, including header are frozen
After selecting an item from the filter list and clicking OK, Excel does not select the cell to which it just filtered

How do I get XL to select the cell to which it just filtered?
Some setting somewhere?
VBA?

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
The code below selects first visible row, to which filtered... but
  1. Needs to be in the filtered column, not just in A
  2. Needs to be triggered automatically, after filter is used manually

VBA Code:
Sub SelectFirstVisibleCell()
Dim iRng As Range
With ActiveSheet.AutoFilter
    Set iRng = .Range.Resize(.Range.Rows.Count - 1).Offset(1, 0)
    iRng.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible).Cells(1, 1).Select
End With
End Sub
