Hey guys,
I am new to the forum. I was hoping someone could help. I am a newbie programmer at best. I understand a little VBA but not enough to do what I want for work. We have a bunch of files, word documents, with different numbers, sku-103, etc. I want to make a macro that can find the file, save the filename to a cell in excel, insert a comment, then make the background of the comment into a picture of the file of the same name, except the picture of the file is a thumbnail. I want to do it to help me find things faster in our file system. It would be great to put the mouse over the number, see the picture and then be able to open it. Is that possible? Could anyone help me get started with this too? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
