Excel VBA userform - How to stop my userform initialization from minimizing all of Excel - Workbook specific instead

I wrote an application which uses a userform only for log entries and hides the workbook when the userform initializes to the monitor screen ( so the users are not trying to direct enter information, selecting from drop down menu choices instead). The problem is that the users also have Excel based work instructions open that require sign offs and data entry points. When they open the log that pulls up the userform, everything in Excel gets minimized, not just that workbook specific. I'm fairly new to VBA and this is my first userform. It works great except for this issue.

Can I change this line in my code, or add more lines or something, to have it only act on the log the userform is associated with and not anything else in open in Excel?

Application.Visible = False

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
