Hi I'm new here and am searching for an answer to a simple problem that's been driving me nuts for about a week.
while I'm quite aware ActiveCell.Column doesn't exist I'm inventing it to help clarify my objective.
Hope someone out there can help end my frustration.

LD1 = ActiveCell.Column
LD2 = ActiveCell.Row
LD3 = (LD1 & LD2)
.Range( LD3) = 1.375

Excel Facts

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
How about just

Code:
ActiveCell.Value = 1.375

Thanks for the response but it's not so simple.
What I need to do is test for the current row then run a series of calculations based on columns in that row. then input the results of the calculations to LD3 which will be on the current row in an available column.

Then perhaps ...

Code:
Cells(Activecell.Row, Columns.Count).End(xlToLeft).Offset(,1).Value = someResult

Double if its a numeric result that's not necessarily a whole number.
