Excel Worbook linked to Sharepoint

Hi,
A quick question from someone who rarely uses Sharepoint.

Is it possible to create a link from Sharepoint to an Excel Workbook that would allow updates to be populated in the Workbook?

In my head this seems straightforward but not having done it before I was wanting to check it was possible.

Thanks in advance.
 

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
