I am concerned that using Winrar you can access the VBA part, and passwords of the file. Is there any way to protect yourself? It seemed to me that if I use the XLS version with macros from 2003 it may work, but I ask if someone has a better method.

Thanks in advance

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Note that Excel protection itself is kind of weak and can be cracked without too much effort.
So even if you use something other than winrar, if someone really is determined to crack the Excel security, they will probably be able to do so.
It really is just designed to keep the casual user from getting into areas that you do not want them to see.
