Excel2000 WBook w macros won't even open in 97!

I have a workbook with macros created in Excel 2000. I cannot open it on another computer with Excel97 loaded. I don't think it has anything to do with the macros, however, as even when I disable the macros, it still won't open. I get the following message

There are a few differences between 97 and its successors. Try saving the original programme using Save As and modifying the 'excel workbook' to the one that includes 97.
