excel2003 get time from internet

in my VBA I use function now() for getting system time. but if the system time isn't correct, it makes me some problem.

I thought maybe it's possible somehow get GMT time? . .

Your could get set your computer's operating system to synchronize time against an internet time server.

However, if you really need something that will connect to a time server via VBA, take a look at http://vbnet.mvps.org/index.html?code/network/winsocksynctime.htm. It should be compatible, however I have not tested it for compatibility.

for me is important not to change system time, but get GMT time...

I've used the linked code in VBA and it works. I used it with the Ostrosoft Winsock Component rather than the Winsock control that comes with VB. If you don't want it to change the system time, simply omit the call to SetSystemTime.
