Hi,

I have a huge list of company names to which I need to assign a code. Some I have codes next to already and so I need to apply the same code next to the same company name, however, when I try, it picks up the first option of "Not Found", so returns that. Is there a way to exclude this specific return and populate with the 'code'?

Many thanks
Ben

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Do you mean like this?

=LOOKUP(2,1/(($A$2:$A$5=A2)*($B$2:$B$5<>"Not_Found")),$B$2:$B$5)
