Is it possible to do this?

Or is there a quick way of filling all Monday to Friday's for entire year and excluding weekend days?

Thanks

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Thanks.....but I can't seem to make that work.

I want to have a list of all Mon-Fri dates in 2005 and exclude the Sat/Sun in between them

I have put 3/1/5 in A2 (my first cell) and the formula in A3 as

=WORKDAY(A2,1)

but it comes back as #REF

Alright fella,

There's a little known (to anyone I know) hidden menu that can cope with this.

Type 3/1/2005 in cell A1 and then RIGHT click in the botton right hand corner of the cell.

Drag the mouse down a few cells and release the mouse button in the same way as you do a fill with the left mouse button pressed.

A menu will pop up asking you what sort of fill series you would like.

This works with dates, days, numbers and probably other things that I haven't discovered yet.

Enjoy!!! (y)

Wow Dom, that's great! Never seen that before, or read anything about it, looks like it could be very useful :)
