Hi,
I have a function refernced to a cell in column b from 7-51, this function is linked to the save date from other workbooks, my problem is this function does not execute unless I manually exectute the cell.

I have tried coding this but seem to be hitting problems on execute here is the code for the function:
=LastSaved("D:\2005 Schedule\test\Schedule05.xls")

Code to execute function
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
For numCol = 7 To 51
strColAddress = "B" + Trim(Str(numCol)) + ":B" + Trim(Str(numCol))
Range(strColAddress).Select
Range(strColAddress).Activate
End Sub
I need a command to execute the function as activate or calculate does not seem to work.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance, Richard

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
