I have the following:

="Get_Table_names!D"&Q8 and that should get me the value from the tab Get_Table_names in cell Q8.
What function can I use to execute the expression which I have gotten by doing aconcatenation of "Get_Table_names!D" & Q8

Thanks

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Hi

Try:

=INDIRECT("'Get_Table_names'!D" & Q8)

which will target the cell at row number [value of Q8] in column D of sheet Get_Table_names.
