export active sheet without macros

Hi everyone,
getting a bit confused please help
all i want to do is export the active sheet and name it "exported sheet"
but the sheet has macros foe on activate that dont work when exported so just get errors

Try this macro:

Public Sub Save_Active_Sheet()

    Dim fileName As String
    
    fileName = ActiveWorkbook.Path & "\exported sheet.xlsx"
    ActiveSheet.Copy
    ActiveWorkbook.SaveCopyAs fileName
    ActiveWorkbook.Close SaveChanges:=False

End Sub
