I am able to export two columns of data from the excel report into a new csv file that's saved in mydocuments (on any machine). Also there is a provision to load the data back in these columns whenever called. (Through "Save" and "Load" buttons)
I was just wondering if there is a way to save these csv files as 'readonly' ? I don't want anyone tampering the data once its saved.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
From the excel help file, to set a file as Read only

Code:
1.On the Windows Start menu, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.
2.In the Exploring window, open the drive or folder that contains the file.
3.Click the file name.
4.On the File menu, click Properties.
5.Click the General tab.
6.Select the Read-only check box.
