hi guys
is there a way to create a program that when you press a command key it export data from access to excel automatically
for example
i have data in a file and i am in access
i click on import data and it comes up as a table in access
now i want to take that data and turn it into excel and have it save in the same folder with an excel file name.
is this possible

thanks

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
I think it is possible.

But why do you want to import data twice?

Can't you just import the data from the file straight into Excel?

Can you give more information?

Have you tried (in Excel) Data-->Get External Data-->New Database Query-->Select MS Access Database and follow the wizard from there to set up your data pull. Once set up you can record Data-->Refresh Data and tie that to a button.

Hope that helps,

Smitty
