Extend existing Copy-Paste function in VBA

Hi all!,

I have searched around the internet on this one and have not quite found what I am looking for yet. Would anyone know if there is a way to essentially add/extend an existing VBA call in Excel? The goal is to have the Copy function work just as normal but actually extend the built-in VBA code for Copy with a small snippet of user-defined VBA code. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated -- even if it means making a custom function, placing the original built-in VBA code for the Copy function back in, and adding my own snippet at the end. Thanks!
